1. About these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Woze Yazılım A.Ş. ("we" or "us") about the DMV Bee app and this website. By downloading or using DMV Bee, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you aren't, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you, and they're responsible for your use of DMV Bee and any purchase.

2. What DMV Bee is

DMV Bee is a study aid for the US DMV written knowledge tests for car, motorcycle and commercial (CDL) permits. Its lessons and questions are written from each state's official driver handbook, and its exam simulator is built like each state's test.

DMV Bee isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any DMV, state agency or government. It isn't the official test, its readiness score is an estimate, and practice results don't predict your result on the real test. We don't guarantee that you'll pass.

3. Content and accuracy

We check every question and lesson against the handbooks and keep them updated, but laws, handbooks and tests change, and mistakes happen. DMV Bee is for study only. It isn't legal advice or driving instruction.

Your state's official handbook and DMV have the final word: check them before your test, and always follow the law and the road signs when you drive. If you find a mistake, please report it with the flag in the app.

4. Free and paid features

Part of DMV Bee is free: the first unit of lessons (road signs), practice on its topic, and its Mistakes. Everything else needs a subscription.

Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store and Google Play and charged to your Apple ID or Google account. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy.

• Free trial. A free trial, when offered, is for new subscribers only. You're charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically every week at the current price, and your account is charged within 24 hours before each new week starts, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current week ends.
• Canceling. You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. You keep access until the end of the week you paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Apple and Google take the payments, so their refund policies apply. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
• Price changes. If the price changes, Apple or Google will tell you before it applies to you, as their rules require.
• Family Sharing. On iPhone, a subscription can be shared with your family through Apple's Family Sharing.

5. Your license to use DMV Bee

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DMV Bee on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial study.

You may not:

• copy, sell, publish or share the app's questions, lessons, explanations, pictures or sign drawings;
• scrape or extract content from the app or its content files;
• reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
• use DMV Bee to break the law or to harm the app, us or anyone else.

6. Our content and your feedback

The app, its questions, lessons, explanations, pictures and sign drawings, and the DMV Bee name belong to us or our licensors. State handbooks belong to their states: DMV Bee writes its own questions from them and doesn't copy their text or images.

If you send us reports, comments or ideas, we may use them to improve DMV Bee without owing you anything.

7. Apple App Store

If you got DMV Bee from Apple's App Store, these terms also say:

• These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for DMV Bee and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for DMV Bee.
• If DMV Bee fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for DMV Bee.
• Apple isn't responsible for any claims by you or anyone else about DMV Bee, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims.
• Apple isn't responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any claim that DMV Bee infringes someone's intellectual property rights.
• You confirm that you aren't in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you aren't on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must also follow the App Store's own terms when you use DMV Bee.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

8. Disclaimers

DMV Bee is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that DMV Bee will be error-free or always available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, including failing a test or a delay in getting a permit or license.

Our total liability for any claim about DMV Bee is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using DMV Bee anytime by deleting it. To stop paying, also cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. The parts of these terms about our content, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law keep applying after that.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about DMV Bee will be decided by the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there. This doesn't take away any protection that the consumer laws where you live give you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. If you keep using DMV Bee after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
